Saori trained and commanded Arius Squad under Beatrice's coercive rule before breaking with her to save Atsuko. She learns to navigate ordinary work and contracts, remains devoted to her friends and later serves as vice president and general affairs manager of Arius' interim council.
Political axes
Guerrilla discipline serves her friends’ survival rather than Beatrice’s domination. Learning civilian life and accepting outside help show a real shift from coerced isolation.
Helps establish an Arius council with distinct officers and an autonomous disciplinary team, replacing the old ruler’s absolute command with responsibilities shared among student institutions.
Serves an explicitly temporary Arius council pending fair elections and chooses accountability.
Teaches mutual agreement and inalienable rights, then exposes students to choices beyond her own abusive training.
Introduces Arius students to outside work and alternatives without demanding they erase their identity.
Current reintegration and accountability temper retained defensive combat; earlier coerced war is not her present ideal.
Volunteers the Arius Squad for rear defense in the joint response despite the history between Arius and Trinity, asking for trust rather than asserting authority over its allies.
Encourages students to earn their own money through part-time work as they rebuild Arius, and teaches that labor deserves the payment promised in a contract.
Reviews employment contracts and opposes fraudulent prices while paying fairly instead of coercing free goods.
Encourages paid work beyond Arius and protects students entering the wider labor market by reviewing their outside contracts before they sign.
Teaches that society rests on its members’ agreements and that inherent human rights are a beneficial common foundation, supplying a civic basis for Arius’s new student institutions after its former ruler.
Explicitly rejects the idea that past abuse fixes one’s future or prescribed social role.
